today I finally found some time to share with you the last two events I have visited during the Fashion Week (click here for the previous post). After all, better late than never, right?
Although the fashion shows were very different from one another both still had something in common, namely the spectacular art of performance.
I hope you like the pictures we took for you. I even got carried away with the photo material, but I simply couldn’t stop uploading… I just think all photos deserve to be seen 🙂
Carina Shkuró SS 2017
I know the Ukrainian designer Carina Shkuró since last year and I have to say she manages to impress me each time I see her latest work. All designs from her spring/summer collection for 2017 were light falling, feminine and delicate. The colours, prints and motives she used have been inspired by the Russian culture.
The designer stayed true to her style once again and presented all of the designs in an unique way. Each model was dressed in a plastic sheet reminiscent of a seashell, but the “real” clothing was actually hidden underneath it – amazing art of presentation of Carina Shkuró’s wearable art.
A conspiracy of ravens SS 2017
The last event we visited was called ‘A conspiracy of ravens’ initiated by the designer trio LVC. I have to admit that I have never been to such kind of event before so I was a bit shoked at the beginning. After all this was everyting but a normal fashion show mostly because of the special way of performance. All models were dancing and shaking under the electro beats and luminescent light so my heart started skipping a beat. After the fifth minute I was really impressed by designer work and finally started enjoying the show. Different shades of black, light fabrics, shining materials, feathers and leather were only some of the keywords that best describe the designer work.
There are some pretty cool pieces in the collection, don’t you think?
